Genealogy
An active effort is underway to
characterize the genetic markers that are unique to each
branch of the MacMillan family tree. A number of society
members are participating in the genetic genealogy study.
David McMillan is collecting and organizing the DNA study results from the
Clan MacMillan DNA
Study, the North American
McMillian Surname Project and the MacMillan DNA Study.
